I'm in US on L1B (from last 6 months) and my L1 is valid till 15th April 2011. Now my project will probably getting extended for 6 months so I want to bring my spouse on L2. So will it create any problem for L2 visa processing as principal applicants visa is getting expired soon?? By the way my company will apply visa extension for me and my family once they are here.
Right now I have following choices:
1. Apply for L2 immediately and bring family here and then apply for extension all together.
2. Apply my L1 B extension and once its extended apply for L2 Visa for family
3. Apply for New petition for new L1 Blanket and get stamped visa for entire family together.
Which would be better option as I want be with my family as soon as possible.
