Surname different for Son

HI,
I have a baby boy and the surname of the baby has been printed wrongly as lastname in the passport. However i do not have much time to change that, will it have any issues when the VISA officer verifies the surname as different with respect to father?
Can the surname be different for father and son ?

Hi,

It is better to correct the error.
In case of emergency, there is no problem in having different surname for your son. My son has different surname than I.
