L1 & L2 Extension Rejected

Hi Everyone,

My extension of L1 & L2 for family is rejected in last week of Feb.2011. The L1 was valid till Nov.2010, when my company applied for extension before the L1 expiration.

Now my company is thinking of appealing for the Rejection within the due 30 days of notice period. My questions are:

1. Am I and my family out of legal status from Feb last week till today. Already 10 days have passed ?

2. If the company as said will appeal for rejection of L1 & L2 in next 10/15 days, if not appealled and asked to leave, what will be my status.

3. I can go within a week, but as my employer is keeping me on payroll and decided to appeal, what should I do to make sure that I do not become Illegal if the employer does not do so and same time work within the status.

4. Do I will get some time bound ban for re-entering ?

5. What is the maximum stay I can be in USA in my above situation. I read some site that I can stay no more than 180 days from actual L1 Expiration is that true ?

You are out of status and illegal since the date of your I-94 expiry.
