Do we have to select specific VFS for stamping interivew

Hi,

I am from Pune, Maharashtra. I am not getting appointment at Mumbai US Counslet. as staying in western region can I take appointment at Other centers like New Delhi or Hyderabad.

I heard from some people like: if you are from west region of India you can take VISA stamping interview only in Mumbai.

Can anyone please help me in this.
