L2 visa's I94 validity

Me and my wife both are in L1 Visa working in USA. Am thinking to do COS to L2. I know my new L2's visa expiry is purely dependent on my wife's visa validity date.
But am not clear on I94's date.
Will it stick to my old I94's date or will it get changed to my wife's I94 during my COS petition?

I-94 date is duration of allowed stay.
If your COS is approved, you will get a new I-94 at the bottom of approval notice which will be valid according to your spouse's I-94. This will be your new duration of approved stay. You must continue to work at least until USCIS receives your application and you must not work after COS approval unless you also have an EAD.
