i94 extension after new passport

Hi,

My passport expires on September, 31, 2011.
My L1 Visa petition is valid until October, 12, 2012.

While I visited to India last week, I got my i94 date until September, 31, 2011.

I have applied for my new passport. How can I extend my i94 without travelling to India?

Are there any USCIS offices in California that can handle i94 extensions, once I get my new passport?

After you receive your new passport and before your I-94 expires, your employer will need to file an amendment to extend your status. Otherwise you can simply leave and return to get a new I-94.
