Hi,
I had a question regarding applying for L1B work visa. I worked at my employers subsidiary company in India for 2 years from 2005-2007. Then I transferred to the US branch and worked on L1B work visa for 2 years 2007 end to 2009 end. I transferred then to F1 visa to pursue my higher studies. Now I have a job offer from the same employers and they are willing to file my H1B petition. I was wondering if it is legal and possible to instead try for an L1B visa instead of H1B. This would allow my spouse to work on L2 visa, hence it is more preferable for us. Thanks for your help in advance!
Regards,
Manish
