L2-EAD applying H1

Hi,
Currently im holding L2- EAD.My visa expires on 20-Aug-2011.
My employer is trying to apply H1 visa.
If H1 is applied for me in june ,
i) Will my status change from L2?
2)Even if premium was done , my H1 will be active from october. So is it possible to stay here in US till i get H1 ?
3)Am i eligible to continue working during august to october?

Probably not, since your L2 status does not extend up to Sep 30.

Not possible. If your L2 I-94 expires on Aug 20, you should leave by Aug 20.

Not possible.
