RFE on L1 extension

Hi all - I need your advise.. !

Could you let me know if I can travel to India with the response from USCIS on my L-1 visa extension[filed on Premium Processing] pending. I too submitted an RFE to USCIS and waiting to hear from them. My company responded on on Apr 12th 2011 and I know there would be a 2-4 weeks time frame to hear back from USCIS. I will have to travel to India on Apr 22nd 2011. If I don't hear anything by then, can I travel to India? I know that I need to get my Visa stamped over there. Are there any issues that I need to take care.

You can leave the US but you will not be able to return without the new petition approval notice. You will also need the new approval notice for your Visa application at the consulate.

Do you mean to say I need to apply for new Visa again? or I can get the approval/denail status for my L1 extension? Please advice...!

If your employer's L1 petition is approved and if your Visa has expired, you will need to apply for a Visa at the consulate. If your Visa is still valid, you can use the new approval notice and current Visa to enter the US to work for this L1 employer.

What is I94??

Hi Its very urgent. I have got L1B visa from Feb 2011 to Feb 2014. But if I enter US in Feb 2012, then i have to apply for extension in Feb 2014 or Feb 2015. Please help. 3 years they count from the date we enter in US??

Also what is I94, is it the date when we enter US.
