L1 visa purpose change

Hi, had been to USA for 4 months on a particular purpose. Now travelling again for a different role with different purpose. Will this create any problem entering USA. Should this be notified to anyone or should i apply for a fresh visa? The original visa is for 3 yrs till 2013.

Purpose still needs to be working for the same employer in the same job.
