Query on L2 Visa

I am Vaman Prabhu currently in USA on a L1 visa through Tata Consultancy Services. My visa is valid up to July 2013.
My Wife Preeti Prabhu currently in India holds a L2 visa valid till July 2013. Recently she got her passport endorsed with spouse name i.e Vaman Prabhu and surname chnaged to Prabhu from pre-marital surname Pai. So now she holds a new passport with given name "Preeti" and surname "Prabhu" . Her old passport is with given name "Preeti" and surname "Pai". L2 visa was stamped on old passport with given name "Preeti" and last name "Pai".New passport has references to old passport on first page.

Will her visa with name Preeti Pai on old passport (name Preeti Pai) valid for USA travel with new passport (Preeti Prabhu)? Or do we need to get visa stamped again on new passport with changed surname?

Mate - This could be tricky. Get an opinion from a good immigration attorney. My gut feel says, she will be fine.

Query on L2 Visa

Thanks, but are there any such old cases and what was the outcome. I confirmed with my company which issues L1/L2 and as per them it should be ok. Can some one make me feel comfortable. Does any one has confirmation in such cases.
