Hi,

I am applying for L2 visa, my husbands L1 has been approved.
I have a few questions, currently i am working in an IT sector and my highest education qualification is MCA, will these be a problem for get L2 visa.

What could be the possible grounds for rejection of my visa?

Fraudelent documentation from your spouse or their employer, improper proof of relationship. (Most of this will not apply to you, there are hardly any reasons why L2 will be denied)

Please note that if L2 visa falls into Admin Processing then it may delay your visa. Please consider this while planning as well

what do you mean by "Admin Processing". Also i have a question do i need a NOC from my company fro applyign for L2???

Sherya - Sometimes consular officer may need to perform additional checks to give visa.. There are several possible reasons for this, some includes backround checks ( more frequently done on muslims).
You can also seach this site for "Admin Processing" or " 221g" and can get more information.

I applied for L2 in Jan and still under admin processing..in my case it seems to be due to background check as I have common muslim name...
