L1 Visa application from outside India

Hi everyone,

Is it allowed to apply for an L1 visa if you are not in your country of origin? For example, I am living in Argentina as a resident and my company is planning on sending me to the US. Can I apply for an L1 visa from here or will I be required to go back to India to apply?

Yes, you can apply in Argentina.
