Can I go to India for few days after applying for EAD

Hi All,

I am on L2 right now. I want to file application for EAD. It can take 90 days for approval. In this time can I go to my native place for some work and can come back to US when biometric test will happen ?
is it possible ?

It is advised that you don't do that. EAD is based on your L2 status and there is no status when you are outside the US. Better wait for EAD or apply after you return.

I am travelling to US on L2 and going to apply for EAD. But I also have to travel back to India. Can you tell me if that is a problem. What happened to your EAD. Did u travel back to india?

You can certainly travel back after EAD is approved and on returning you can use the same EAD if it has not expired.
