Need help: L1,L2 extension and EAD renewal processing time

Hi

I am currently working on L2 EAD which is going to expire on 23rd June 2011 along with L1 & L2 visa of my husband and me respectively
My husband's company has filed L1,L2(I-94) extension and EAD renewal concurrently on 8th Apr2011. So far we have recived the EAD recipet from USCIS however we have Not recieved the reciept for L1,L2 extension petitions.
So i have following questions:

1. How much time does L1 & L2 extension approval requires after filing?
2. Its been 30 days that EAD has been filed but i haven't recieved any biometrics notice yet, will it cause any delay in EAD processing?
3. Are biometrics must for EAD renewal or the biometrics notice would come after L1,L2 extension approval?
4. What could be the possible time frame to get my EAD approved in the scenario explained above?

I was in this exact same situation. My EAD was expiring in April and L2 in July.

My hubby's co. wouldnt start the extension of our L1/L2s soon, so I went ahead and applied for my EAD extension 3 months before its expiry( in January).

I got my renewed EAD card 3 days before the expiry of the old card.
We applied for our visa extensions a few days after that. I was worried too abt this scenario, but it worked well (atleast the EAD part of it). Now, we are waiting for our approval for visa extension.

My experience on your questions :
1. How much time does L1 & L2 extension approval requires after filing?
---> Not sure about that.

2. Its been 30 days that EAD has been filed but i haven't recieved any biometrics notice yet, will it cause any delay in EAD processing?
---> Not sure if you require biometrics for extension. Atleast I was not asked for it. But I was requested documentation, which in my case was my marriage certificate (my name and hubbys last names are different)

3. Are biometrics must for EAD renewal or the biometrics notice would come after L1,L2 extension approval?
----> I feel both these things are independent of each other. You will notice that the process catches speed only in the 3rd month (keep checking the status on their site)

4. What could be the possible time frame to get my EAD approved in the scenario explained above?
-----> For me, both times it has been exact 3 months.

So you mean you didn't have to go through the biometrics process when you had applied for renewal of EAD?

When they asked you for supporting document , didn't they ask you for extended I-94? as EAD depends on it.
