  • Very Urgent: L1 Ext Denied, VISA & I94 expired

    Hi,

My L1 extension got denied on 18th May 2011. I-94 and visa expired by 1st Apr 2011. My employer filed L1 extension on 14 Mar 2011. Yet to receive the written copy of denial notice from USCIS.

    PFB the details.

    Visa Type - L1-B
    Visa expiry Date - 1st Apr 2011
    I-94 expiry Date - 1st Apr 2011
Extension applied on - 14 Mar 2011(Premium Process)
RFE sent by USCIS on - 29 Mar 2011
Last Date on RFE - 13 May 2011
RFE response review by USCIS on - 12 May 2011
Denial Status update in USCIC Site - 18 May 2011

Can anybody help me with available options.

    - Am i eligible to stay if my employer decides to appeal the verdict?
    - how long i can stay?
    - What are the other options

Thanks in advance for your help

    Here are my opinions
    - Am i eligible to stay if my employer decides to appeal the verdict?
    >> You should evaluate if your case is strong enough, your companies attorney might help on that
    - how long i can stay?
    >> You need to leave immediately as you have started incurring invalid stay
    - What are the other options
    >> Not sure..

One advise - you are in critical situation and should take professional attorney's advise, let it be paid but at least you will be sure about options.

    All The Best.

It will be great if you could post what happened next so that someone in future might use that information.
