L1 Visa

Currently I am on L1 Visa but resigned from the company. I want to leave the country after a week and go to Canada as I have permanent resident Visa.
Will I have any problems during immigration.

My company would have informed American consulate that I resigned.

This is very urgent.
Please advise.
