I came to US on L1B Visa in April 2007 got L1B extended till March 2012. I have gone on break in India in July 2010 for 3 weeks and I'm pretty much in US since April 2007. My parent company in US wants me to be transferred in US permanently and I'm glad to do the same. My Questions are as follows:
1. Can I apply for GC on L1B through my parent company. If yes, how much time approximate time will it take to GC.
2. How can I continue working in US with my present company after expiry of my L1B in March 2012.
3. What options do I have. I want to apply and get GC as soon as possible and my company will support me but I don't know the rules and future course of action to take.
