L1B New Rule ?

Hi,

My company HR telling me that there is new rule from us immigration that person who are given with L1B for a particular customer has to visit atleast once for that customer inorder to move on to another us client with the same L1 VISA.I am thinking that just to avoid people asking for release from that project they are saying that this rule exist.

I remember there is no such rule previously ,please let me know if the rule really exists now.

L1 blanket petitions are receiving heightened scrutiny these days. There may not be any new particular rules, but your HR will know better. In general there is certainly a locational LCA requirement and proof of availability particular project needed.
