Maiden name on old passport with valid I94&Visa. new passport wit after marriage name
Hello,
Me and my wife are holding a valid L1 and L2 Visa respectively. As my wife was having her maiden name on her passport, she got L2 with the same name in India. So her old passport, visa and I-94 has same old name. As the old passport expired, her name got changed to her married name(on the basis of our marriage certificate) in the new Indian Passport issued at United States. So her new passport has new name, bu the visa and I94 still holds the old name in old passport. I just wanted to confirm below:
ยท Whether her current L2 Visa and I94 with her old Maiden name be valid?
. Will this cause any issue while travelling back to India or can be just proved with marriage certificate?
. Can we ever get a visa stamped in new passport with new name?
. Can I apply for EAD with the same documents.
