URGENT travelling on 20th Jun L2 to H4

I am on L1 expiring on July 2012, I also have an approval H1 petition files by same company which is approved form oct 1 2011. Can my wife travel right now and get the stamping from India in on H4 after October. Or would there be any issue if she was not in US when my visa changed from l1 to h1. Her petition for h4 is under process right now.

Once your wife leaves the US, her change of status application is meaningless.
She can certainly apply for her H4 visa using H1 approval notice and travel to the US using that visa after Oct 1.

She can travel and get the stamping for H4 from India. But, if she travels before her COS approval come, there is a chance that it might get cancelled. In that case, you need to go for consular processing for H4 from India again. Better to travel once her COS approval came, then she just need get the visa stamped.
