L1 visa Pending under 221(g) Admin Processing

Got the visa

Finally I received the visa with stamping after a long 112 days of wait. It was difficult to wait specially when you made up your mind for a long travel and with family.

Please find the below details:
Visa Type: L1B
Interview Date: 7-Jun-2011
Slip: PINK
Received Passports: 29-Sep-2011

l1 indivisual waiting for 95 days

I got blue slip in chennai and I am waiting for 95 days since we submitted docs and its still in aap.

Recieved 221g for L1B - Invididual

I went for L1B - individual on Nov - 08th. The VO asked only few questions. She said my application is fine and then gave me 221g pink slip. They took my passport and DS-160 copy. Do you guys know long it will take?

My B1 was in administrative processing for 14 Months, but approved finally.

Hi,

I went for my L1A visa interview on 13-sept with my wife. Interview went well. And after that we got pink slip 221g for ADP. And while tracking, I can see only my barcode number, my wife's barcode number is not found. Any idea on this?

Now 70 days are over. GOD knows when this long wait will be over.

Hi All,

This forum helped me understanding the process of ADP. I appeared for my interview on 13 sept. and got pink slip 221g. I was checking the kolkata us consulate website almost everyday. Few times it happened that the site was not updated for more than 20 days
But I got call from consulate on 5th dec after 83 days. The lady told taht if you come today personally then it will be done today itself. Otherwise post your passports to nearest VFS. And we couriered passports and got it on friday 9th Decemeber

So guys if you are waiting then just pray o lord and have patience.

Dear Friends,

I attended my L1B Visa on Interview on november with my extended petition valid for only one year as my company wanted me to go with my extended petition. I was told by the consular that my visa is granted and they need to do administrative processing. They took my passport and gave me a pink slip. I have the following questions

1) Since they have taken my passport will the adp 221g process be faster and I would get my passport with visa stamped sonner, if yes approximately how long (i do understand that there is no accurate answer but just the probability)

2) Given the scenario that my petition is an extended petition whose validity is less than a year now will my visa end date be same as petition end date?

3) If my visa end date is same as my petition end date and if it takes like more than 3 months to get a response on my adp 221fg then will they still consider giving me a visa for less than 6 months?

Please adivce . your help is much appreciated.

L1 B -Administrative Processing

I attend US consulate Chennai on Jan 20,2012 .Close to five months still waiting for VISA.

any idea or any one on the same process . please share your experiance.

This is mohamed darwish from Cairo, Egypt, I attended my interview in June 2011 and my administration processing ended on October 2011, this process took me more than 4 month, and I was very worried about that, and I thought that it will never come, and now I am in the United States El hamdo LELLAH, so don't worry my friend, you can read this whole thread , you will find that there are other guys waited more than you and they got there visa at the end, you don't have anything to do more than waiting for this process to finish, there is one more thing you can do "just pray for ALLAH", he will never let you down.

L2 Visa for Husbands

Hi,

My wife's company has applied for my L2 visa and my interview date is on 2nd July 2012. My wife went to US on 10th June 2012 on L1 visa for her long term assignment.

I am in lot of confusion about my approval of L2 visa as I have not gone through a single thread here of L2 visa for husbands. (as all are of wife applying for L2 visa)

Also, want help on the type of questions asked to L2 applicants and specifically when Husband is applying for L2. My wife has left first on L1 and she is now in US so is there would be any concern about why I have not applied along with my wife?

Do I need to carry my educational certificates, experience letter, present employer's appointment letter etc.?

Please reply on urgent basis.
