L1 visa Pending under 221(g) Admin Processing

130+ days and still counting

Is there someone to help me, to get what went wrong in mycase?

We can get what happened to our case in any Indian Govt offices but cannot find the reason for why is the delay from the consulates. I have attended the interview in Hyderabad Consulate on 26th April 2013, they have retained my passport with them saying need additional info. And the last updated date stopped from 11 June 2013 in the CEAC website? I have travelled twice to US and still don't know what went wrong.

It will be 1 year by 18th Sep 2013 that I have submitted my L1 Individual documents for petition. It passed through RFE for 6 months, then 1 month waiting for the Interview date and the great part is the L1 administrative processing been pending for the last 130+ days.

Hi All,

221g not always so bad as faced by few members. Its better than rejection and gives some positive hopes.... I just went thru it and wanted to share my experience to motivate and help the 221g victims.

Visa type : L1B
Petition : L1 Blanket
Visa interview date : 17th Feb 2014
Admin processing : Passport retained, Blue slip, Docs Requested -US Sponsor letter
Docs submitted - 28th Feb 2014
Visa issue date : - 8th March 2014

Visa issued is 8 days after submission of requested docs...However it has been issued for 2 yrs . But its fine as company will file another after 2 yrs

"Issued" status too confusing.

Folks,

Congratulations to all who have got their VISA and my honest prayers to people who are still waiting. I know how it feels like and won't wish for anyone to go through this ordeal.

My question to the group is - my status says "Issued" and also says the below description. What does it mean? Are there any more changes that I should wait for? To be on the safe side, what would be the "contact information" should I need to contact them?

"Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than 10 working days, please see the webpage for contact information of the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application."

L1B blanket got 221B Blue slip yesterday at chennai

Hi Guys ,

I got 221G blue slip yesterday at the chennai consulate . on 17th June 2014. They took my passport , I797,I129S, resume and company cover letter. Anyone else in the same boat with me ? What the experiences of people with this lately ?

Have you been asked to submit any documents?
And did your application status change on ceac tracker in this one month?

Update

Hi , I was asked to submit my resume and company support letter on the day of the interview itself. I was carrying both of them and hence gave to the V.O. immediately .

First time my status changed was only 2 days before I got the visa. Before that nothing .

Application requires additional administrative processing

Today, I had the appointment at the U.S. Consulate, Chennai. The Consulate officer did not ask even a single question and handed over the blue slip which says, "Your application requires additional administrative processing before a final decision can be made". They kept my passport, I129S (3 copies), I797 (3 copies), my resume and the company letter.

I later realized that there was an error in the DS-160 form (filled the annual salary instead of the monthly salary) which might have triggered this. I think all I can do now is wait.
