L1A query - Manager to Functional Role

I am going for VISA interview(L1-Blanket) for me and L2 for my wife and Kid in coming weeks.

My role here says '"Technical consultant" and I do project management and people management(10 people in India). I have 12+yrs expeirence

In US the position offerred is more of a Functional role with Manager title
But no direct people but organization lead shall dotted lines report to me.

My organization is an MNC in communication industry.
I worked in US in 2001 on H1B and had SSN
(Also travelled number of countries 7 in last 5 years)

1. My question is how much chance is that I shall be L1A?
An advise during interview?

2. Will I be able to re-use my SSN when I go to US.

Hi

As far I know for L1A-Blanket some people at onsite should direct report to you and you should have hire & fire authority. This is very important.

I have also applied L1A-Blanket which is approved but gone for administrative processing. I have shown 5 peoples are reporting to me from onsite. The questions are -
1. What will be ur role at US?
2. How many people will report to you?
3. Have you sent any associate?
4. Do you have fire authority?
5. For which client you are working?

I attended interview @kolkata consulate on 1st June 2011. I have total 7.5 years of exp and in current company 3.5 years.
