Hi,
I am from India. I came to US in Mar 2008 and I had valid L1 B VISA and I-94 till 10th Dec 2010. My Visa and I-94 expired as of 10-Dec-2010. I had applied for L1 B Extn through my employer and got the L1 Extn till 10th Dec 2012. But I lost my L1 B Extn Hard Copy document(I-129) and I-94 last month.
Currently in my passport, I have old I-94 that had 10-Dec-2010 date. I don't have new Hard copy of I-129 and new I-94 which I got it through L1 B Extn. But I have a scanned PDF copy of I-129 and new I-94 which has date till 10-Dec-2012. Also I have applied for I-824 duplicate copy of approval notice through my employer, but they said it will take at least 4 months.
I have to go to India 1st week of Sep-2011 this year for my marriage.
Questions:
1) will there be any problem while I am leaving US? (Bcoz, I have only original I-94 which is expired and have only new I-94 scanned copy)
2) I am planning to return US in 1st week of Oct 2011. So I have to go for L1 B extn stamping and also I have to go for L2 stamping for my spouse. As I said, I have only scanned copy of I-129 Approval notice. Will there be any problem going for a stamping in US Embassy in India since I don't have original I-129 Approval notice?
