Hello Senior Member -

I have mailed Form I-765, G-1145 (fees, proofs etc..) to USCIS. I am assuming I will get an email or sms once my form has been received. Is it right or is there another way to track it?

You should get a receipt number (usually starts with EAC) in mail which can be used to track the status of the application in uscis site .

thanks goomail. Do you know generally how long it takes to get this EAC# after my courier reaches USCIS?

My wife got the receipt# around 3 weeks after we mailed it.
