Continuing employment with Indian Company with work location as USA on L2 Visa

Hi Friends,

My husband got an L1 visa and is in the US on a long term project. I wish to join him on an L2 Visa.

However I do not wish to give up my employment in India, rather i want to continue working for the company in India from the US, as my Manager in India would not have any issues with the same.

Is this possible and legally allowed?
