Applying L1b while having H1b visa

Hi,

Currently I am working in company A in India. It has initiated L1b visa for me now, they sent my docs for petition approval.
Also I have a H1b visa valid till 1-Sep-2011 through empoyer B(US employer) which I applied in 2008. I have not travelled to the US on H1b till now and do not intend to. I do not know if my employer B has cancelled my H1b petition or not.
Right now I am interested only on L1b.

1)Will having a H1b petition/visa impact my L1b approval?If yes how.
2)If L1 petition is approved , will there be any issue during visa interview?
