L2 Visa while L1 is Admin Pending

Hi,

I attended my L1 visa Interview on 12-Jul-11 and given 221g pink slip.They have taken my passport and said I would get my visa within 8 weeks.No docs were asked.

The issue is that time i didnot plan for L2 visa for my wife.But i now wish to apply L2 now.Is it possible to apply L2 now and will my case affect her interview.

Your wife can apply for her Visa using your petition approval notice. However depending on the reasons for your 221g, she may also get stuck. It will be better to apply after you get your Visa.

Is it worth to try my luck so that i can take her along with me becoz she is afraid of travelling alone..

also pls let me know can we have translator for her as she is housewife and bit nervous to talk to US guys as of now, as its going to decide her travel...

She can certainly book the appointment in her regional language, no problems with that.

Like I said above, it is likely that her Visa may get stuck into a 221g as well.
