EAD denied, as I appiled under wrong category

I am on L1 Visa here and EAD for my wife is denied as I applied under wrong category 25c-T dependent ( wrongly selected from the online dropdown)
Ideally it should have been 18a (spouse for L1).

I called up Service center and they did not give further directions.

Can anybody share your thoughts here?

Your wife has to apply again with the correct category this time.
