Question on L1B Stamping

Dear Group Members,

I got my L1B approved petition on 11-Aug-2011 . 3 days back . I came to US on Business visa now. I am planning to go to canada and get my L1B stamped.
Can you please suggest your thoughts. Do you see any issues here

L1 Blanket

For last 2 weeks I was seeing AAP message and the VO had kept my passport in chennai India. When I used to track for passport it ised to say with the post.
From yesterday I see the message There is no status update available for the passport number submitted

Has any one experienced this.

Any idea how much time this will take
