Port of Entry- Pls share ur views

Hi ,
Please inform me that if I have filed my L1 B visa for client "X" then is that any new rule due to which I can travel only for client "X" and not for any other client.
Does officer at airport deport people from airport due to this reason?
What if I carry client letter from different client (not client "X")?will they allow?
