Hi Members/Attorneys,
I was gng thru topis in some forum, I came accross a reply from one of the attorneys there. It was like this:

However, I can say that, ordinarily, if an alien is seeking readmission as a Blanket L-1, the Blanket Petition is still valid,
and the alien is otherwise admissible, CBP should admit the alien for an additional three years regardless of the balance of the time left on the original admission (unless that period of time will exceed the statutory limitations on the L-1 alien’s stay in the United States.)

My Doubt:
1. I've a L1B Blanket expiring March 2012, but I'm expected to enter the US this yr in Sept (ie Sept 2011). If we go with the above statment can I safely assume that I'll get an I-94 valid for next 3 yrs?
2. If the officer at immigration gives some other date by, say till my visa expiry. Can I request him to relook as its an L1 B Blanket?
Pls clarify.
Thanks
Amit
