Visa interview if GC has been applied - any issues?

Hi,

My company is planning to file my GC application. I am currently in US with an approved L1 individual application but will need to get the visa stamped since I am planning on a vacation to India.

Is it a problem if my GC has been applied & I attend the interview? Will it be a problem with the VO ? Thanx in advance !

L Visa allows for immigrant intent, GC is not a problem.

Hi Kabkaba what I meant was - in the DS 160 we got to mention if GC has been applied. My GC will be applied in a few weeks while my stamping might be sometime in Jan (thats when I go for vacation) - you think it could have an issue with stamping; the VO might reject cos of immigration intent?

If I-140 or I-130 has been filed as on the day of interview, you should answer the 'has an immigrant petition been filed on your behalf' question as yes. As above immigrant intent is allowed for L Visa.
