  • Visa Stamping

    Hi All,

In March 2011 we (me and my dependent) applied for the L1B and L2 visa extension, which got approved without any problem.

My Wife went back to india in June 2011 due to family reason with Baby (new born having US Passport.)

Now i am planning to go back to india in December for visa stamping -

    My Questions are -

    1. Is there any risk of visa getting cancelled or delayed during stamping ?

    2. Should me and my wife go together for visa stamping or going individual with different date is preferred ?

    3. should there be any issues my baby having US Passport. if they ever asked about baby ?

    Thanks !

Not because of any of the facts mentioned.

    Does not matter.

Thanks for the quick reply kabkaba ...!

      regarding my first question -

      1. Is there any risk of visa getting cancelled or delayed during stamping ?
kabkaba > Not because of any of the facts mentioned

what i mean is my extension is approved, are there still any chances of rejection/delay during stamping ? or is it very strait forward process, and very few chances of rejection.?

the main reason i need to know this is i want to decide if i should keep my belonging in US or should i sell every thing before i go back to home country for stamping ?

      4. i was browing this forum and i am not sure, is " delayed due to admin processing " topics applies for visa stamping as well or it is just for new visa applicant or renewal only. ?

Visa approval is not guaranteed after petition approval.

Generally, IT consultants face a lot of scrutiny and if your employer has layers between them and the final client, that will make it difficult to get the Visa. If they have good practices, pay for the petition, pay on bench etc., it will be easier to get the Visa.
