My company is in the process of applying for my L1 A visa application.
I have a total of 9 years experience. Last 2-3 years have been spent in a Lead/Manager role. I have joined a US based MNC a year back in Bangalore, India.
In my previous job, I had spent a little over three years on H1B in US. I worked on three different projects at three locations during my three years stint. I came back in 2009.
As I understand, L1A is reserved for senior management roles and typically a person must have spent at least a year performing that role in the current job at offshore. Since I have joined this company just a year back, I have completed 1 year in my current role. I want to understand what are my chances of getting my L1A visa approved.
Will any of the below impact me negatively
- My prior three year stint in US on H1.
- I have just completed a year in my new job.
