Urgent L2 in pending status.

Hi friends,

One of my friend is currently in US with L1B. Recently she got married and applied for L2 to bring her husband to US but unfortunately the L2 application was put in pending status. For almost 2 months there is no change in the status.

Can someone please tell me what is the procedure to get back the passport? This is really urgent. Your answers are appreciated. Thank you.

Her husband needs to call up VFS to get the passport back. When the processing is completed, the consulate will again ask for passport to issue the Visa.
