L1 B Approved on 30th Sep - Chennai Consulate

Hi All,

First of all Thank You everyone on this forum, without this Forum am sure I’d have gone blank , this forum gave me idea and confidence on how to face the VISA interview.

Here you go this is my experience.

I applied for L1B and me and my wife attended the Interview.

VO: Hey there, Good Morning
ME: Good morning Mam
VO: Applying for L1B?
ME: Yes Mam
VO: What’s your company name?
ME: abc
VO: What’s your specialization?
ME: (This is the turning point to get the VISA, has I see that many Rejections happened infront of me because specialized knowledge was not explained clearly to VO or VO is not able to understand)
I took few seconds with a Deep Breath and slowly, with Eye contact was explaining my specialization for around 3 minutes 42 seconds and VO was listening and moved to next question.
I think being very specific on what we are going to perform our job using the specialized skill will fetch us L1 visa – just my experience
VO: What’s your Indian Salary?
ME:ZZZ
VO: How many years with the current company?
ME: ZZZ
VO: How many members on the same specialization in India ?
ME: Just me
VO: Am done, you will get your passport in 1 weeks’ time and I-129S 2 copies was returned to me.
But no Golden Words like ‘We have approved your VISA etc.’ which is fine though.
