Travel to India with expired Visa but Valid I94

Hi......I need to travel to India.....i have expired visa but valid I94.....i heard that in that case you cannot travel through Europe.....is that true...so does it means i should take a direct flight from US to India or can i stop in Eur or Dubai, etc. Pls advice.

You need to take direct flight only, dont take risk of stop-over in Europe.
As I know Air India has direct flight from NY and NJ. Heard @ CA also, but not sure.

Thanks Deepak.....but can i take a stop over in Asia like Dubai and Qatar.....also i came to know from some agents that in Amstradem is only expectional place in Eur where you can stop over....Is this correct.

You can stop over in Europe there is no such rule...you need a valid US visa when entering US...when leaving US how does it matter to European countries if your US visa has expired or not?

Not sure @amsterdam. though it could be risk. I have faced situation similar to u, in my case company took care and arranged flight thr. nj direct to mumbai.

You should take second opinion from agent like thomas cook

Many European countries like UK and Germany require a transit visa. Having US Visa exempts one from that requirement.
