L2 Visa Query

Hi All,
My wife got L1B approved recently and she will be travelling to US in coming weeks. We are planning to process my L2 visa but not sure about application timing.

1. Can I process L2 visa before she move to US? or I will have to wait for few months after she is in US?

2. Are there any specific documents required on my name for L2 processing? (For example, you need i-20 form on dependents name for F-2 category)

3. I have a job offer from US based firm and H1B processing is under way. Will L2 approval gets affected due to this?

You can apply any time.

Petition approval notice for your spouse is sufficient.
3. I have a job offer from US based firm and H1B processing is under way. Will L2 approval gets affected due to this?
Getting L2 Visa in your passport does not matter. If you travel to US in L2 status, you will first have to change status to H1 or receive L2 EAD before you can start working for the H1 employer.If H1 is filed while you are present int the US in L2 status, it can be directly filed as change of status.
