L1 to H1 transfer -- extension period

"hi I am in L1 B right now some consultancy is applying H1 for me , my question is
I am here on L1B from past 3.5 year if they file H1 for me how long it will extent ? will it start from 0 till 6 year or they will consider the L1 B stay period and it can ..."

They will count L1 period also.
