Hi Gurus,
I have a Candian Permanent residency staying in Canada for the past 2 years. Based on the canadian rules, I need to complete 1065 days (around 3 years within 5 years) to be qualifiable for Canadian Citizenship.
My HR is requesting me to go to US for projects on a L1/L2 visa. If I travel to US every week (go on Monday, return back on Thursday), would it be counted against the total number of days that I need to stay here to apply for citizenship.
I heard recently that if I travel to US through a Canadian company and payed here, it would not impact my days outside Canada on employment.
Please clarify on this.
Thanks for your help.
