L2 EAD need Clarification

Hi, I am L2 visa holder and I have applied for EAD. Once my Biometrics is over ,I came to my home country for personal reason but my husband is still in US. Now from USCIS requesting some documents like my I94 and Passport copy. Whether it will affect my EAD process, since I am not in US? Pls advice me......

Ofcourse it will affect your EAD process. Why will they issue a EAD to a person who is no longer in L2 status? You need to be physically presnet in U.S in L2 status to get the EAD approved. Unless the ofiicer who is handling your case overlooks it, there is no chance of getting the EAD approved.
