I have an L1 visa and have a query related to fingerprinting check at the US immigration/port of entry.
I underwent a minor surgery on my one of the right hand finger due to an injury. There are few stitches on the fingerprinting area of my finger. I am afraid that stitches may leave a temporary or permanent marks and as a result my fingerprints which were taken at the time of visa issuance may not match.
Would it cause any issues at immigration/port of entry during my visit to the US? Though my understanding is that rest of the 9 fingerprints should match, so it should not be an issue however I want to be sure that's the case.
I do have all the medical records related to the surgery.
Please share your thoughts/experience.
Thanks
