L1 A extension - passport not recieved

I went for my L1 A blanket renewal on 21st Oct. Interview at the window was fine. They kept my passport but said they were experiencing some system slowness because of which they were unable to check some credentials of my company. If there is any issue, they will contact me early next week.

I havent recd my passport back yet and VFS website still shows that my case is under process at consulate. I am not sure if there is any other way to check progress. Please help.

Call the consulate / VFS helpdesk. If your case is under administrative processing, then they can give you a case number to track your status online.
