L1B Blanket petition will be on hold???

HI,

I have appeared for L1B Blanket visa interview in August. VO told me i'm not eligible for L1B Blanket Visa and said my petition will be on hold for 1 year and asked me to apply for L1 Individual and he has given me a Blue Slip.

Can one pls tellme what exactly is that 'Petition will be on hold for 1 year ' means? What are the options before me now

It means you cannot reappear for L1 blanket for another 1 year. You need to file L1 individual as mentioned by the VO or apply for H1B and go for stamping again.
