Expired L2-Visa with valid I-94 can apply for EAD??

I am on L2-visa but it got expired on April 2011(My husband's L1 visa too expired on same date) but i have I-94 valid till june-2013,now I am planning to apply for EAD can I apply it without valid visa, please help me...

Yes, Visa is only a travel document.

Thanugula - My spouse is in exactly same situation and we are quiet confused as no one really knows these matters exactly. It'll be good if you'd share what was the result of your case, pls?

Yes, your wife can apply. Visa is not necessary.
