DS 160 Clarification for L2 VISA

Hi Friends,

I am in US for last 1 year and now I am going to bring my wife to US. So I am in the process of filling the DS-160 form for my wife and I have a clarification on VISA REFUSAL QUESTION.

On October 2010 me and my wife applied for L1-Blanket and L2 visa in Chennai consulate, the consulate officer refused the visa saying the "application are not clearly approvable" and asked me to file a L1-Individual petition with USCIS. Subsequently my company filed my L1 with USCIS and I got my VISA on January 2011 and came to US alone.


Now my doubt is, whether I need to say yes for the question

Have You Ever Been Refused a U.S. Visa, been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the point of entry?

If Yes, what kind of details I need to provide for my wife?

If they gave you any denial letter in writing. Mention the reason on that letter in the details. Or just write 'principal L1 not clearly approvable' as the reason.
