L1B-H1B for same employer
Can someone help with his?
1) My L1B is expiring in June 2012 and I94 also expires on same date. My employer(same who sponsored my H1B) will file H1B in April. Can I continue to work till october without having to go back in June? What will be status if so?
2) Can L1B->H1B conversion done? what is the difference between conversion and getting new H1B?
3) I am planning to go to India for 2 weeks vacation. During return if I get I-94 longer than VISA expiry (say for example, I94 till next year), can I continue to stay after VISA expiry of L1B and continue working from H1B from oct 1st 2012? Please also let me know if I can change status from L1B-H1B for the same employer in April itself if petition is approved?
