  • L2 documentation that is required

    Hi Folks

I and my spouse are planning to go for L1-A & L2 visa interview next week. My spouse is working but will resign from her job if her L2 is approved.
What are the documents that she needs to carry for the interview?
Does she need to carry an employment verification letter with her indicating that she is currently employed?
She has her appointment letter, last 3 months payslips, her office badge. Would these suffice?

Any response on this will be great, because we have to collect all the documentation in the next few days.

    thanks
    Nitin

    Hi,

I applied for L1B and my spouse was asked for only passport and marriage certificate in the interview. He was working at that time but they did not ask any documents to prove it. If you can take it I would recommend to have it in case. We definitely had an employment verification letter with us - but no one asked for it.

L2 applicants only need to show the L1 principal's job and proof of relationship.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
